What is Reiki?
Reiki is is a non-invasive, gentle energy healing technique developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century. Reiki promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By helping to balance the body's energy centers, Reiki can help alleviate pain, promote relaxation, and encourage healing. A typical session lasts 60 minutes and involves the patient lying down or sitting while the practitioner places their hands on or near various parts of the body.

Receiving Reiki
A form of somatic healing, Reiki works by helping to balance the body's energy centers, known as chakras. I will place my hands on or near various parts of the body to encourage the flow of energy. This energy transfer can help to alleviate physical and emotional pain, reduce stress and tension, regulate the nervous system, and promote overall well-being. Reiki is a non-invasive and gentle technique that can be used alongside other medical treatments. You may experience warmth, tingling, or other sensations during a session. After the session, you may feel grounded, relaxed, and experience improved overall well-being.

Taylor received her Reiki Masters training and mentorship under Mallory Combemale of the Firefly Society. She has also been trained and certified with the Maha Rose institute in Brooklyn, New York. Taylor has trained in both Reiki Usui Ryoho and Usui Shiki Ryoho methods.
